East Grand Forks, MN, January 16, 2006 —123ID, Inc. is pleased to announce that Ceelox Inc. has selected the biometric matching algorithm, CVTSDK from 123ID to provide superior identification results in their K-ID program.
K-ID is the first biometric authentication program that has been specifically designed for use by child care providers. K-ID was developed for child care to secure the relationship and interaction between themselves, children, and their guardians. The tracking ability provided by K-ID accounts for the check-in and check-out times of every child within a facility.
Using 123ID biometrics, K-ID is able to authenticate guardians, their children as well as child care management employees with fingerprints. Furthermore, these fingerprints can be associated to a valid state driver’s license, a valid state identification card, or a valid United States military identification card for a guardian and a picture ID for children and employees.
Using K-ID, matching authorized guardians with the children they are permitted to remove from child care is an unmistakable and quick process. Furthermore, a guardian’s privileges can be changed from full, being able to remove a matched child at anytime, to limited, being able to remove a matched child only on specific days. No other child care management program is as flexible or effective.
