East Grand Forks, MN, October 26, 2005 —123ID, Inc. is pleased to announce its newest partner, EPS Corporation, Engineering & Professional Services, Inc.. The alignment of 123ID with EPS will open new markets for the biometric solutions of 123ID, Inc. to governmental organizations.
The EPS product line will now offer customers access to the full suite of 123ID tools. 123ID’s powerful Biometric matching technology will provide superior fingerprint authentication and verification functionality to EPS security products. As one of only twelve providers of “one-to-one matching” technology for verification, typically used to obtain door access or login to a computer, 123ID is the only matching algorithm that can compare fingerprints across different vendors’ fingerprint sensors. In the civil market, 123ID is one of only two available forms of “one-to-many matching” technology for identification, most commonly used to prevent multiple entries of the same fingerprint into a customer’s information database.
The scaleable architecture of 123ID technology can support large projects and unlimited CPUs for parallel searching. 123ID tools are also uniquely operable in Windows, UNIX and embedded environments, as well as built upon the versatile Code Vector Technology (CVT).
