East Grand Forks, MN, August 11, 2006 —123ID, Inc. is pleased to announce that PanaLog Call Management has selected the biometric matching algorithm, CVTSDK from 123ID to provide superior identification results in the PanaLog Biometrics product.
PanaLog is a Call Management / Cost Accounting software program designed for Panasonic® Business Telephone Systems in the United States. PanaLog Call Management software products create statistical reports and graphs, and on-the-spot analysis of incoming and outgoing call activity and productivity. PanaLog is a Windows® based program, providing users easy point-n-click operation.
PanaLog Biometrics, released July 2006, offers the same call analysis functions with enhanced security for access to telephone call records. Access to employee call information is limited to administrators and authorized personnel who have enrolled (registered) their fingerprint for secure login and identity verification. PanaLog Biometrics includes an optical fingerprint reader by SecuGen, which connects to the USB port on consumers PC’s. The user simply places their enrolled finger on the optical fingerprint sensor to log in for secure program operation.
The Biometrics engine of 123ID Code Vector Technology, based on minutiae and vector morphology, provides a faultless match for authorized users, and denies access to all unauthorized users. 123ID’s CVTMSDK is a software developer kit for integrators to add biometrics to their products. CVTMSDK is interoperable among many manufacturers fingerprint readers.
